This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies lumi uses. It is a
plain-English draft; the final policy will be reviewed before launch.
lumi uses a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in
and to protect the service (session and security tokens). These are required
for the service to function and cannot be switched off.
The launch build does not load third-party advertising or cross-site tracking
cookies. We do not sell or share cookie-derived data with advertisers.
Any analytics used to understand and improve the service are limited to
aggregate, service-operation purposes and are described in the final policy.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking
strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
We will publish the reviewed, non-draft version of this policy before the
service leaves its launch phase.
